How We Do It

We were contacted by a coffee packaging company who was using heat to seal their product. By using ultrasonics, we were able to give their product a more appealing look, consistent weld and cut their energy consumption by 50%.

A company that sells customized document sealing envelopes was having trouble keeping up with their orders when using a heat sealing machine. We built a custom document encapsulation machine which was able to seal any size and number of envelopes at the same time with a professional and consistent appearance.

Cutting fabrics with scissors always leaves a frayed edge on the material which can unravel, using a hot wire could burn the material and draw a lot of power to run all day. We designed a system that could cut and seal any size fabric with no frayed edges and in half the time.

Grain packaging companies use a needle and thread to sew woven poly bags. The needles are not cheap, and it takes a lot of time to replace when they break. We designed a complete system to weld the bags using ultrasonics eliminating any consumables and down time.

Egg farmers cannot stop the chickens from laying eggs, so when the belt that carries the eggs breaks, it must be repaired immediately. Ultrasonic hand probes with custom tooling can repair the belts on the spot and get the belts up and running in a matter of minutes.

Cutting cookies with a knife was messy and inconsistent, by implementing custom ultrasonic tooling, we can cut through nougat, nuts and frozen chocolate chunks with little to no residual mess on the cutting blades and in less time.
